About Dr. Isaacson:

Dr. Isaacson completed her undergraduate studies at Cornell University. She attended New York University College of Dentistry and participated in their prestigious Honors Clinic.  She is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Society, the Suffolk County Dental Society, and the International Academy of Aesthetics. She has taken extensive coursework in cosmetic dentistry, sleep medicine, and is Invisalign certified.

 

Dr. Isaacson and her staff greatly enjoy giving back to the community.  She participates in many programs such as Give Back a Smile, Give Kids A Smile, and Operation Gratitude. She also holds an annual Candy Buy-Back and a Veterans' Smile Day to support our troops. For her tireless work in the community, Dr. Isaacson was the honored recipient of a 2019 Angel Award.

Dr. Isaacson  believes in "treating the person, not just their teeth." She enjoys spending time with each patient to make them comfortable, and especially loves to work with dental phobes. If you haven't seen a dentist in years because of your fears, Dr. Isaacson welcomes you!

 

An animal lover, Dr. Isaacson takes in and rehabilitates stray cats, and she admits she probably has too many. She is an accomplished musician and composer, right now playing clarinet in several community bands. On top of this, she is an avid writer and published author of a teen fantasy trilogy.

About Dr. Behrbom (oral surgeon):

   Dr. William Behrbom completed his undergraduate studies at CW Post/ Long Island University, earning both BA and MA degrees in Psychology. He attended Fairleigh Dickinson University earning his dental degree, and The University of Health Sciences for his MD degree. He then completed a residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at New York Medical College/ Lincoln Medical Center, and subsequently completed fellowship training in Orthognathic Surgery, TMJ Surgery, and Dental Implantology. He is a member of the ACOMS (American College of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons) as well as the American Dental Association and its state and county component branches.
   In addition to almost 40 years experience in practice, Dr. Behrbom has worked in other affiliate medical areas including: Professor of Internal Medicine at New York University, Professor of Sports Medicine at Dowling College, Professor of Anatomy and Physiology at SUNY, and Attending OR Surgeon at Lincoln Medical Center. He has been Attending Oral Surgeon at Good Samaritan Hospital, Montefiore Medical Center, and The New York Hospital for Joint Disease. Additionally, he is a New York State Athletic Commission certified Ringside Physician.
   With his vast experience in all aspects of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Behrbom prides himself on his very gentle approach to treatment. He has a great chairside manner, loves to explain everything to his patients, and feels that the patient's comfort as well as exceptional treatment and meticulous surgical technique are paramount. He is also a big supporter of DAV (Disabled American Veterans).
    As well versed as he is in the Surgical field, he is equally diverse in his private interests. Dr. Behrbom is a licensed pilot and a Certified PADI SCUBA diver. He is a big fan of  Survivor and The Amazing Race. His true passion is classic and special interest collector cars. He has had many collector cars over the years and attends car shows regularly in the summer season.
