Dr. William Behrbom is a dual-degree, board-eligible Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon with more than 40 years of clinical experience. He earned degrees in Psychology from C.W. Post College, his dental degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences. He completed his residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at New York Medical College/Lincoln Medical Center, followed by fellowship training in orthognathic surgery, TMJ surgery, and dental implantology.

Dr. Behrbom is known for his gentle approach, warm chairside manner, and dedication to patient comfort. He takes the time to listen carefully, explain treatment clearly, and answer questions so each patient feels informed and confident throughout their care. His compassionate approach is complemented by meticulous surgical technique and more than four decades of experience.

Dr. Behrbom has held academic and clinical appointments at New York University, Dowling College, SUNY, Lincoln Medical Center, Good Samaritan Hospital, Montefiore Medical Center, and the New York Hospital for Joint Diseases. He is also a New York State Athletic Commission-certified Ringside Physician and was selected for appointment as Chief of Oral Surgery at a Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Florida. He is a member of the American College of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association and its state and county affiliates, and supports Disabled American Veterans.

Outside of surgery, Dr. Behrbom is a licensed pilot, a PADI-certified SCUBA diver, and a classic-car enthusiast. He also enjoys watching Survivor and The Amazing Race, as well as attending summer car shows.
